Wave 7
The Saudi Official Gazette (https://uqn.gov.sa) recently made an announcement on July 28th regarding the next wave of companies required to implement ZATCA e-Invoicing Integration Phase 2.
As per the announcement, eligible companies are notified at least six months prior to their integration date. Wave 7 taxpayers are identified as individuals or entities whose annual revenues subject to value-added tax exceed fifty million Saudi Riyals for the years 2021 or 2022. These companies are now mandated to connect their electronic invoicing systems or solutions, electronically send simplified and tax invoices (including notifications), and share their data with the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority for clearance and reporting purposes.
In addition to public announcements, eligible companies receive an official email from zatca.gov/Fatoora for confirmation. They are also assigned ZATCA advisors or relationship managers who will provide guidance throughout the implementation process. This personalized support aims to assist companies in successfully complying with the ZATCA e-Invoicing requirements.
